Today’s sermon focuses on the story of Mary being visited by an Angel. She was given the news that she would have a child. This child would be holy and would save God’s people. She could have had many responses. She chose to respond in faith and trust. She surrender to God’s mission for her life. Rather than seeing herself as a victim, she chose to see herself as favored.

What about your life? Are you facing difficult that seems unfair, overwhelming or impossible? You may not be in a place of faith where you can fully surrender as may did. But, you can begin to chip away at your doubts by asking the question, “What if?” These two simple words are the begin of the end of doubts. These two words therefore are the beginning of faith.
