Everyone seems weary from a year of Pandemic life. We’ve all been waiting and wondering how long it will take to get back to normal. And even when we say this, we. know normal won’t be what it once was.
In today’s sermon we will look at what it takes to regain new life after being knocked down. We’ll also learn how we can positively bring a prophetic voice of hope to those who are trying to get back up.
Specifically, we’ll explore the story of Ezekiels vision of a valley of dry bones and the call God gave him to prophesy. We’ll look at three stages of restoration:
- Outward restoration
- Inward restoration
- Hope and looking forward
You will also learn how to offer “positive prophecy” to helps others. Positive prophecy is the art of acknowledging the pain and reality that someone is currently bearing, while painting a picture of hope for what can come next.
After this sermon you will have a simple and practical practice to speak a healing word to someone hurting.
Please note there is a PDF worship download available if you would like to participate in the hymns and liturgy as you worship.
