SERMON TIME STAMPS:
[10:54 ] Old Testament: 1 Sam. 16:1-13
[13:37] New Testament Reading: John 9:1-41
[19:00] Sermon: A God Who Works Outside of Our Boxes

Is it time to get out of your box? Your perception of God may be trapped in a box. God’s ways our not our ways. For example, in the Old Testament reading for this sermon, God selects David to be king, though he is the youngest and least likely candidate in his family. Why? Because God looks on the inside; whereas, we look on the outside.

In the New Testament reading, God heals a man born blind and in doing so he leaps out of the box of people’s preconceived ideas about healing, the sabbath, the nature of sin, and the box of fear.

How might you be missing God at work? Do you have boxes whose walls are too high and too thick? This sermon is worth listening to if you are having a hard time believing right now that God is at work in your life.
