This sermon on Psalm 145 addresses the importance of extolling God’s works. Specifically, Rev. John Arnold addresses how we need to do this in order to pass on the faith to future generations.

He also shares his own experience of using three different levels of story telling to help disciple another Christian. These three levels are: stories people can readily and easily believe, stories that are at the edge of what people believe, and stories that go far outside of people’s expectations. Each type of story has a different learning value and therefore a different impact on the person being discipled.

Anyone can incorporate this simple strategy in their daily living to become a more effective witness for God’s kingdom. When we say “anyone” we mean, yes even you!

We hope this sermon is a blessing to you. Please come and visit us for worship any Sunday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. If you’re curious about what to expect your first visit, then check out our welcome video.
