What’s our worship like at First Presbyterian Church?
On your first visit, you immediately notice we are a small church. We have anywhere between twenty and thirty people typically in attendance, so this isn’t a place where you are going to fall through the cracks or be overwhelmed by a crowd.
Our worship style is traditional in that our primary instrument is an organ, we sing mostly hymns from a hymn book, and follow a relatively formal order of worship. However, if you hear the word traditional and think: stuck, rigid, or stuffy, that’s not us. Despite a traditional form of worship the atmosphere of Trinity is relaxed and welcoming. We share joys and concerns in worship and often times a deep laugh together.
Our pastor’s sermons are biblically based and easy to relate to. You will find yourself both challenged and comforted by his messages. You can watch videos of recent sermons on our sermon archive page.
You can also stream or download audio of sermons for listening offline.
Other opportunities here…
Other opportunities at First Presbyterian Church to grow and become a part of this caring family of God include our monthly potluck suppers on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. We enjoy a meal together and then pastor John leads singing with his guitar or banjo and shares a brief lesson. As our guest please don’t feel obligated to bring a dish. There is always plenty.
Potluck lessons are also video recorded and can be viewed on our website. Use the link below to access them.

Throughout the year we host a variety of opportunities for fellowship and mission. Upcoming and prior activities can be seen on our events page.
What are you looking for?
If you are looking for a small dedicated family of God trying to live life well together, then we may be just the place for you. We do not have a plethora of programs. What we do have is a great deal of care for the people who come and our community, an earnest desire to honor God and we’re striving to grow in our faith.
Sometimes people are hesitant to attend a church because they feel they need to “clean up their act” before coming. That’s not true. Come as you are. We aren’t a perfect people and we aren’t expecting you to be either. In fact, there’s a good chance you are wanting to visit worship in order to make your life better. Most people feel that way. That’s awesome. Come on and visit us.
